Skin To call me a strange man would be an understatment. I've scarred my skin to show how much i don't fit in with your normal way of life. The world around me sees me as different and I take pride in it, but deep down inside I'm screaming to be one of the fold. Being the gray sheep in the world of black and white never quite works. I sit on the fence of what is cool and what isn't. Is it all perspective? If you see me with my friends and you ask the simple sesame street game of "which if these things is not like the other", I'll be the one that you pick out. Lack of Connection there's a lack of connection between us. Seriously. It's all one sided. I give and give and give. But we still don't connect. I don't know what it is that's blocking us, but it must be the size of a mountain. I can't seem to get around it, or over it. I'd love to climb to the peak of it and scream at the top of my lungs hoping that you could finally hear what i've been saying for oh so long. The message has never changed. It's always been one of honesty and truth and strength, but it falls on deaf ears every single time. I'm lucky to know you're there. Lucky to occasionally send a message.
